Dear Donors,
Thank you for your interest in supporting safe water access for children and families in Nigeria’s North Central states. Your concern for vulnerable communities brings hope to schools and households facing daily water and sanitation challenges.
Across Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, and Plateau, many families still depend on unsafe water sources. Children walk long distances to fetch water, and schools lack proper toilets and handwashing stations. Poor sanitation increases illness and keeps many girls at home during their menstrual periods. This project will install solar-powered and manual boreholes, construct gender-separated toilets, provide water storage tanks, and deliver menstrual hygiene education. Children will be trained on proper handwashing habits, while teachers will receive guidance on maintaining WASH-friendly schools. These efforts will reduce waterborne diseases, improve school attendance, and create safer learning environments.
At present, no donations have been received for this initiative. We kindly invite you to support or share this project so clean water and sanitation facilities can reach communities in urgent need.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
