In the past three months, we are deeply grateful for the lives of malnourished children that have been saved through your support. Every Tuesday, we welcome over 60 children to our free Nutritional Review Clinic, where they receive the care, attention, and nourishment they need to recover and thrive.
Malnutrition remains one of Uganda’s most urgent public health challenges. Nearly 29% of children under five are affected by stunted growth, and 4% suffer from acute malnutrition. These children are fighting not just hunger but for their very survival—and your generosity is giving them a real chance at life.
Through Whisper’s Nutrition Ward, severely malnourished children receive specialized therapeutic feeding, medical treatment, and ongoing support. In just the last three months, 70 children have been successfully treated and rehabilitated. Beyond the ward, our outpatient programs continue to monitor children’s progress, ensuring they regain strength and continue to grow even after leaving our care.
Many of these children come from remote villages where healthcare is limited. Our outreach program travels to these communities, identifying malnourished children, educating families about proper nutrition, and bringing critically ill children to our ward for life-saving care. This outreach ensures that even the most vulnerable children have access to the help they desperately need.
Since the opening of Whisper’s Nutrition Ward, over 10,000 children have been treated and rehabilitated—each life saved made possible by your compassion and support. Every child we help is a living testament to the difference your generosity makes.
With your continued support, we will expand our outreach, strengthen therapeutic care, and work toward a day when no child in Uganda suffers from malnutrition.
Thank you for being part of this life-saving mission. Your kindness is not only transforming lives—it is giving children the gift of hope and a healthy future.
