Progress So Far

Thanks to your contributions, we have been able to:

Cover diagnostic tests for early detection and better treatment outcomes.
Offer psychosocial support for families going through this difficult journey.
Pay for transportation to and from hospitals, ensuring children can access care without barriers.

Your kindness has already brought hope to many families who would otherwise have struggled to access the care their children desperately need.

Remaining Needs

While we have made great strides, we are not there yet. To fully achieve our goals and reach even more children, we need to raise an additional funds to complete the project. These funds will go towards:

Covering treatment costs for newly diagnosed children.
Expanding transportation support to rural areas.
Sustaining our educational programs to raise awareness about early signs of childhood cancer.

Introduction Adjah Cancer Support Ghana is dedicated to providing comprehensive support to children battling cancer and their families. Our mission is to alleviate the burden of cancer through education, support services, and direct medical aid. Currently, one of the most critical needs we face is the provision of medications for children with cancer.

Current Situation Cancer is one of the leading causes of death among children in Ghana. Many families cannot afford the high cost of cancer treatment, including essential medications. This financial strain often results in delayed or incomplete treatment, significantly reducing the chances of recovery for young patients.

Program Overview To address this urgent need, Adjah Cancer Support Ghana is launching a program specifically focused on providing medications to children diagnosed with cancer. This program aims to ensure that every child has access to the necessary drugs, regardless of their family's financial situation.

Objectives

Procure Essential Medications: Secure a consistent supply of high-quality cancer medications.
Provide Financial Assistance: Offer financial aid to families who cannot afford the cost of medications.
Raise Awareness: Educate the public on the importance of timely and complete cancer treatment.
Collaborate with Healthcare Providers: Partner with hospitals and clinics to streamline the distribution of medications.

Supporting Children with Cancer in Ghana

ADJAH CANCER SUPPORT GHANA is dedicated to providing comprehensive assistance and support to children battling cancer across Ghana. Our organization recognizes the unique challenges faced by pediatric cancer patients and their families, and we are committed to alleviating their burdens and improving their quality of life.

Our program for supporting children with cancer in Ghana encompasses a range of services tailored to meet the specific needs of young patients and their families. These services include financial assistance, emotional support, educational resources, and advocacy efforts aimed at raising awareness and promoting early detection and access to care.

ADJAH CANCER SUPPORT GHANA provides financial assistance to cover the cost of medical treatment, including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgeries, and supportive care medications. We also assist families with transportation expenses to and from treatment centers, as well as accommodation for those who need to travel long distances for specialized care.

We understand the emotional toll that cancer takes on children and their families.
