Help Cancer Patients Pay for Travel Expenses!

Arina is 15.  She is a lively and happy teen who was suddenly thrust into a difficult fight for her life.  In October 2025, after having dinner with her family she began bleeding profusely and had to be hospitalized urgently.  The examinations and imaging showed a tumor in her pelvis, and after several agonizing days it was confirmed to be malignant.  Arina was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive type of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma that is very difficult to treat.  She was immediately started on chemotherapy.  Arina had a very hard time tolerating the first chemotherapy cycle, but the tumor started to shrink.  Unfortunately, after the next chemotherapy cycle the tumor began to grow again.  More aggressive chemotherapy did not improve matters and only led to tumor's accelerated growth.  

In May 2026 the family decided to take Arina for treatment abroad as the local doctors ran out of options for her further treatment.  Arina and her mom flew to Turkey where she started treatment based on an individually designed regimen.  She is being monitored closely and her family is hoping she will start responding to treatment. 

The cost of treatment is very high and Arina's parents used up their savings and sold everything they could to raise the funds needed.  Arina's dad is staying at home in Kazakhstan where he is working several jobs to try to make as much money as he can.  Your support for this project meant that we were able to provide support to Arina's family and make their financial burden a little lighter.
