Little Slava is from Ukraine. He is a sweet and soft-spoken 7-year-old boy who loves stuffed animals. Slava has been staying in Houston with his parents since March 2013. He has a relapse of cancer that doctors are unable to treat in his home country, and his parents brought him to MD Anderson Cancer Center that offered several chemotherapy options. Recent tests showed that Slava is responding to treatment, and he was recommended to continue the same regimen. Slava may have to stay in Houston for many more months, and the family needs our support to afford lodging.
On Wednesday, October 23rd, the last Bonus Day of the year will present an opportunity to get a 30% bonus on every donation (up to $1,000) from GlobalGiving. The projects that raise the most funds or attract the most donors, will get additional $1,000 bonuses. Support us on Wednesday to stretch the impact of your donation!
