Dear Project Supporters,
Your ongoing support has made an impact on children who lost their parents to Ebola. One of the lives you have impacted is Geraldine's who is now in her third year of college thanks to the ongoing support she has received. She tells us about her story in this video
Hi, my name is Geraldine, I am 22 years old. I'm a third-year student at the Institute of Public, Administration and Management(IPAM) for short, and I am studying Banking and Finance.
I come from a family of three, my elder brother, me and my kid sister. Both of our parents died of Ebola 2014 and I'm presently living with my recently adopted mom. My number one challenge right now is how to play the role of being a mother to my kid sister because we lost our mother in 2014 when we were young girls. It is challenging trying to be her mother because I have no idea about motherhood. That is one of my greatest challenges right now that I'm facing.
When I grow up, I would like to become a lawyer because I want to help and I want to give a voice to the voiceless. That would be my own little way of rendering justice to the world.
We are so thankful for your support that has made such a difference in Geraldine's life and encourage you to start a monthly recurring donation here to help more Ebola orphans. Even a few dollars a month will go a long way. Please also share this with your contacts and invite them to consider supporting this ongoing project.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.
With great appreciation,
Amy & The Develop Africa Team
