Balajothi Centre for the Disabled is a registered charitable trust, founded in the year 2004. It is not a religious trust. Its doors are open to intellectually challenged children from disadvantaged families, irrespective of religion, caste, creed or community. Parents are encouraged to participate in our programs through songs and prayers of their respective religions. Please follow us on Face Book at : https://www.facebook.com/balajothi.centre/.
Shiva (name changed) is a 100 % disabled child affected by Cerebral Palsy. Though he is unable to control his body movements he is a happy child and responds well to his caregivers during therapy and training. He is also non vocal. When asked if he likes to attend Balajothi Centre he nods vigorously. He is attached to a select few of the caregivers and is very co-operative. The various programs seek to stimulate his interest and involvement.
Balajothi thanks YOU DONOR for your sacrificial giving of $270.15 which has brought a change in Shiva’s life. He is certainly happier and healthier now than when he started the program.
