The Challenge
Cerebral Palsy (CP) is a non-progressive disorder that causes physical disability in development, mainly in the areas of body movement and control. It is caused by damage to the motor control centers of the developing brain and can occur during pregnancy, childbirth or after birth. Children affected by CP have problems in perception, communication, cognition and epilepsy. It also leads to musculoskeletal problems resulting in difficulties in movement and balancing.
Your support
Balajothi is grateful to YOU, DONOR, for your concern for the welfare of
underprivileged special children. We
thank you for your sacrificial giving of $285.15 against the funding goal set
at $5000. These funds are being utilized
to provide therapy and rehabilitation to Ramu (name changed) who is a severely
affected CP child (75 %). As he is
unable to walk our caregivers visit him regularly at his residence and work with
him. We are also planning to provide him
with a wheel chair in order to take him out of his home for getting fresh air
and to spend time in natural surroundings.
Balajothi thanks GlobalGiving for their support and guidance to this cause and for raising funds round the globe, even during this COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you GlobalGiving !!
