HELP 20 DISABLED CHILDREN IN INDIA FIGHT AUTISM

(A Project by Balajothi Centre for the Disabled Trust – Project # 36030)

Project target : $ 5000

Funds received to date through GlobalGiving : $ 597.60

Due date of Project Report : Nov 18, 2019

Date report sent : Nov 2, 2019

Balajothi Centre for the Disabled is a registered charitable trust, founded in the year 2004.  It is not a religious trust and its doors are open to  intellectually challenged children from disadvantaged families, irrespective of religion, caste, creed or community. Parents are encouraged to participate in our programs through songs or prayers of their respective religions.

Rakesh (name changed) is an autistic child with highest level of disability (profound level of 100%). He can neither speak nor walk or do any of the myriad physical activities which normal children do, including feeding, bathing, jumping etc.  But he is a sight to behold when placed before a lap top, desk top or I-pad.  He then becomes oblivious to food or sleep and spends all his time working on any of this equipment.  The look on his face says it all ……

His god given talents and skills are supported and enhanced by your selfless giving of $597.60.  EVERY SINGLE DOLLOR OF YOUR DONATION is being used to improve his skills in playing music on the key board and operating the computers.  THANK YOU DEAR DONOR for giving a new lease of life to a precious  child bringing countless hours of happiness in his life.  Your precious donations, on a regular basis, can change lives giving you the kind of satisfaction which no amount of material things can give.

Rakesh has been the forerunner for improving the lives of other autistic disabled children at Balajothi.  He is a model for them to follow and find happiness in their disability.

THANK YOU GLOBALGIVING for changing the lives of countless children all over the world raising funds through your fund raising platforms.  THANK YOU MANY TIMES OVER !!

Warmly,

Project Leader
