Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a developmental disorder that affects communication and behavior. It is a "developmental disorder". Autism spectrum disorder is a serious condition related to brain development that impairs the ability to communicate and interact with others. Autism, as the whole world knows, is one of the most dreaded disabilities and lasts lifelong.
Krishna (name changed) is a child severely affected with Autism. He was diagnosed with ASD at two years of age and has been attending therapy sessions and rehab programs since then. He has shown remarkable progress and the caregiver entrusted with his rehabilitation has this to say, ‘Krishna is a wonderful child and blessed with remarkable talents which I have not seen in other children with autism.’ He is non verbal but has learnt to communicate his needs through action.
Balajothi thanks YOU, DONOR, for your generous funds of $1457.60 to date which is of immense help in his rehabilitation process. He needs life-long support and help round the clock in carrying out all bodily functions, including feeding.
Balajothi thanks GlobalGiving for their guidance through webinars and seminars in managing children with autism. GlobalGiving has been able to bring a large measure of comfort by providing much needed information on this widespread dreaded disability. Thank you GlobalGiving and god bless you for this support !!
