Six-year-old Sofia was diagnosed with acute leukemia in January. She is the only child, and her parents were shocked to learn about her diagnosis. Sofia's treatment was started immediately, but she had a very difficult time tolerating the side effects of chemotherapy and was taken to ICU twice in the first month of treatment. Although Sofia responded to treatment, she needs to access therapy unavailable in her native Ukraine. Her parents are urgently raising funds to take her to a Children's hospital in Barcelona, Spain to make sure that Sofia remains in remission.
Our project aims to support families like Sofia's to ensure every child with cancer has equal chance to access the best care available to them. We will really appreciate your help with getting assistance to Sofia and other kids like her.
On July 14th, GlobalGiving will offer an opportunity to increase your impact during Bonus Day - donations of $100 USD and up will get matched, starting at 9 a.m. ET. The higher the amount, the higher the match! Save the day, or donate any time - it's up to you!
We sincerely appreciate your aid for families of kids with cancer!
All the best,
