Helping Colombian children with disabilities

He is Miguel Ángel and at only 7 years old he defines himself as a soccer and violin fan, he shares his passion for soccer with his father and close friends. He is characterized by his joy and passion for the activities he does, his family defines him as a happy child with great abilities to do everything he wants to do.

Miguel Ángel comes from a humble peasant family made up of his parents and 2 brothers, they live in a village located in the municipality of Peñol in Antioquia. They travel to the city of Medellín to receive specialized attention for their diagnosis of activity and attention disturbance, which affects their behavior, their emotions, generates impulsiveness, inattention, learning difficulties, among other aspects, in addition, receives specialized care for the treatment of strabismus that causes a deviation in the gaze due to misalignment of the eyes.

Thanks to the attention received and the activities he practices, Miguel Ángel has made great progress in his treatments, which have allowed him to explore his creativity, strengthen social relationships and enhance his violin and soccer skills.

From the Patronato Foundation we support Miguel, with specialized consultations in ophthalmology, neurology, neuropsychology, psychology and exams, in addition, we have provided Miguel with special lenses that allow him to carry out his activities and preventive and corrective actions.
