All the beneficiaries of this project have achieved significant progress; they have improved in math, now they are able to make sums using concrete materials or figures and are able to identify numbers. In hydrotherapy area are working in safety on the water, walking around the pool and underwater swimming. In speech therapy, they are memorizing songs, working on imitations of tongue and lip movements in order to strengthen the orofacial muscles.
Oscar is 16 years old, he was borned with Down Syndrome. His parents are very committed with his assistance to therapies and with his socialization process with peers and therapists.
Oscar is a young collaborator; he loves to be encouraged and gets motivated when the therapist ask him to lead activities. He gets very enthusiastic when he is reinforced positively for his achievements.
