Meet Susana, she is 6 years old, was born with Down syndrome. She is a little girl with a good sense of humor, is a joker and is very interested in investigating things that happen around her. Susana has a big cognitive potential, has shown independence when performing different activities like eating, dressing and undressing herself.
Susana is able to mimic tongue and lip movements, understands situations that are presented by graphic support point objects and people by name.
During this year has achieved balance and coordinative skills to facilitate better gross motor coordination through exercises with balls and balancing herself on uneven surfaces and performs activities independently.
In hydrotherapy, independence is accomplished, playing with water, performing dives and moving around the pool with floats independently.
From the area of musical stimulation has successfully track rhythmic sequences, maintaining order, pulse and time. Make smooth and strong hints according to the musical context. Participates in the construction of melodies, is cheerful and participates in rhythmic choreographic work type. Susana has improved her skills to move into small, medium and large spaces. In the melodic aspect, it´s evidenced that Susana loves sounds produced by tubular instruments.
