Our beneficiaries still attending their rehabilitation program and have achieved significant progress in the following areas:
• Cognitive area: have improved their levels of grouping and sorting items according to the characteristics, identify numbers and silhouettes. In math they are able to sum small quantities using concrete materials or figures on paper.
• Physiotherapy: according to the needs of each beneficiary, are implemented therapeutic strategies aimed to modulate muscle tone, improve postural control and promote the realization of different patterns of movements when walking or swimming.
• Speech Therapy: activities are developed in order to strengthen the expressive and comprehensive manner. Memorizing songs, imitating sound and making lip movements are some of the activities done by the children in order to strengthen the orofacial muscles.
• Music area: rhythmic and choreographic works are performed, recognizing time and space according to the demands of the activities, which promotes coordination and attention. Children have achieved adequate participation in music by performing touch and interpretations assemblies.
