Three-Month Project ReportCombat Human Trafficking Will Increase Peace
By Johannes Shikuloh | Project Leader
During the three-month reporting period, the project continued implementing its activities aimed at strengthening community awareness and education on human trafficking, child labour, child exploitation, and abuse. Building on the progress reported during the previous period, the project maintained its focus on prevention, community education, youth engagement, and strengthening cooperation with local stakeholders.
The organization continued engaging community members, parents, young people, and other stakeholders through awareness and community interaction activities. These engagements provided opportunities to discuss the dangers associated with human trafficking and child labour and encouraged communities to remain vigilant in protecting children and vulnerable young people.
Youth participation in awareness activities also continued. Youth drama remains an important approach used by the project to communicate anti-trafficking and child-protection messages in a simple and practical way. Through these activities, young people are encouraged to become active participants in creating safer communities and to speak out against exploitation, abuse, and other forms of violence against children.
The project also continued strengthening communication and cooperation with community leaders and relevant authorities. Community members were encouraged to report suspected cases of trafficking, child labour, abuse, exploitation, and other forms of violence against children to the appropriate authorities.
Preparations and consultations related to the planned awareness dinner event also continued during the reporting period. The planned event is intended to bring together community members, local leaders, legal authorities, child-protection stakeholders, and trafficking survivors. It will provide an opportunity to increase public understanding of trafficking and allow survivors' experiences to contribute to community education and prevention efforts.
The organization also continued mobilizing support and exploring opportunities to secure additional resources for awareness activities and victim-support initiatives. Limited financial resources remain a challenge, but the organization continues working with available community support and partners to maintain project activities.

Conclusion
The project continued making steady progress during the reporting period by maintaining community awareness, youth engagement, and stakeholder collaboration on human trafficking and child labour prevention.
Although financial and logistical limitations continue to affect the scale of activities, the organization remains committed to sustaining the project and gradually expanding its reach. Continued support from donors, community members, local authorities, and development partners will be important in enabling the project to reach more vulnerable children and communities.
Through continued education, awareness, youth participation, and community cooperation, the project aims to contribute to safer communities where children and vulnerable people are better protected from trafficking, exploitation, and abuse.
