Balajothi thanks YOU, DONOR, for your generous contribution of $ 956.50 raised to date, for this noble project of helping disabled persons with urinary incontinence. 

Having a disabled and bedridden person in a home, who has urinary incontinence, is a major challenge. Especially if the person is intellectually disabled with speech impairment, who needs help and support round the clock. This problem requires frequent change of clothing, washing the private parts of the patient using disinfectants, and drying of the clothes. This continues till the very last day of life of the disabled person.

Medical treatment, including surgery, is out of the question for such disabled children. Use of diapers will, to a great extent, alleviate the difficulties posed by this problem. Generally mothers will help in this kind of burden imposed upon them, but we have several instances of the fathers having to take over in absence of the mother due to death or employment.

Since this is a life long challenge associated with the mental disability of the affected person there is no long term cure for this situation. Only regular use of diapers is the most practical and sensible solution to handle this situation.  The child in the picture is that of a blind boy, affected with mental disability, among other things, who needs such support round the clock.
