The implementation of “Providing Education for 150 children in Armenia” project had great success in 6 regions of Armenia ( Aragatsot, Shirak , Lori, Ararat, Gegharkunik and Vayots Dzor).

We have organized competition among 6 communities to provide the effectiveness of the project. In the result the working groups of Vanadzor, Khor Virap and Byurakan have been awarded with prizes.

Additional seminar on the theme of “the role of basic education for teenagers” has been organized in communities (Ararpi, Martuni and Jermuk) for working groups.

Meetings with focus groups have been organized in 6 communities. During the meeting the participants had active discussions and suggestions for the further development of the project.

We continue to implement the project in above mentioned communities that has its progress.  90 beneficiaries from 6 communities participated in the project. 2014 was more productive year for our organization fundraising which will help us to enroll more beneficiaries for “Providing Education for 150 children in Armenia” project.

We can provide several regional blogs where their works are being presented. As we have working groups in 10 communities of 10 regions and the project has been implemented in 6 communities we have foreseen to implement “Providing Education for 150 children in Armenia” project in 4 regions (Armavir, Kotayk, Tavush and Syunik) as well.  These are the most remote regions in Armenia. We must train the working groups in 4 communities, recruit 15 teenagers from each community, implement questionnaire for the assessment of educational level of the teenagers, organize trainings 12 hours a week and feed them during the trainings.

Dear supporters and GlobalGiving team, It is very important for us to know your opinion about our project “Providing Education for 150 children in Armenia”. It will be helpful for the implementation of the project and you will have your input in the project which is very important for us.

Arina from Lori Region expresses her viewpoint about the project.

Hello, I am Arina from Lori Region.
First of all I want to thank the supporters, GlobalGiving and the organizers of the project for such an exciting and educational program they are assisting and implementing. I am one of the participants in the project of "Providing Education for 150 children in Armenia". During the project basic educational training was provided with interesting and new methods. That was the reason that the participants were taking part in the classes with great interest providing high value of the basic education in their life.

In the frame of the project I met good and kind people. Everything was interesting to me especially the classes organized with via games in the nature. The class about the Armenian painters was very impressive as well. We were also involved in the classes providing extra information about the topic of the lesson. It would be great if similar projects were being organized again with various disciplines.
