The children commenced the academic year in October, eager to learn and improve their academic capabilities. Since then, out of 3 reporting period, one of our little girls, Diakassan, ranked twice first in her class of 44, with a GPA of over 8 out of 10 both times. Additionally, Adama and Lassine have commenced the skill building with tailoring classes. Finally, in the sport arena, 3 of our children, Diakassan, Koro, and Assan, are retained to participate in Bamako’s regional competition. The year was ended with a visit to Bamako by one of our board of directors, Alpha, who spent Christmas and New Year with the children in Bamako.
