It is Christmas Break in Mali, and with it comes first academic semester results. Thanks to your support, in addition to the traditional classroom time that they get at shcool, we have been able to hire two instructors for the children: one who teaches them Math, and French, and who teaches them English. With that extra support, the children have gone from poor performance (last year prior to their acceptance to ACFA, 80% of them were held back in school) to ranking in the top 10% of their classes, with GPAs of 6 and 7 out of 10. In a country where English is only introduced in the 7th grade, our children are taking English classes since the first grade.
