Resilience through collaboration
Our journey began two decades ago as an evolutionary biologist and entomologist studying wild silk moths along Madagascar’s rainforest edge. Today we are a proud group of conservationists, artisans, and entrepreneurs who work together to set and achieve ambitious goals.
Our flagships are not charismatic megafauna, but humble insects. Our focus lies outside of protected areas, on meeting human needs in ways that foster biodiversity and create beauty. To us, farmers, artisans, and local innovators are critical agents of change.
We're proud to share our latest Annual Report that documents the resilience of our sister organizations in Madagascar and the United States and the remarkable circle of local farmers and artisans with whom we collaborate.
We couldn't do any of this without you. Thank you for supporting our mission and helping us change lives and landscapes in Madagascar.
