WHEN HUNGER BECOMES A DAILY STRUGGLE
Imagine being hungry and having no way to ask for food.
For many neglected animals, hunger is not an occasional experience. It can become a daily struggle when households lack the resources to provide adequate feed. Without sufficient nutrition and clean water, vulnerable animals can become weak and more susceptible to illness and other welfare problems.
In Eastern Uganda, many animal-owning households face economic difficulties alongside limited access to affordable veterinary services and animal-care information. These challenges can leave animals exposed to hunger, disease, injury, poor shelter, and prolonged neglect.
Good Cause Foundation Uganda is responding through the Help, Feed & Save 100 Neglected Animals campaign.
We aim to reach 100 animals whose welfare is at risk and provide appropriate support based on their circumstances. This includes food, clean water, veterinary assistance, rescue support where appropriate, temporary safe care, and monitoring.
