Help Feed Rescued Exotic & Wild Animals in Arizona

Many visitors remark about how happy the animals look at Keepers of the Wild. They witness them at ease and enjoying their environments. I love this photo, Kemalu appears as if he is smiling. There's a look of perfect contentment on his face. 

 Kemalu did not look like that upon arrival. Did you know that he was rescued from a failing sanctuary? They did not have enough food on hand to feed any of their animals. Animals were starving and malnourished. Animals were suffering from incredible pain and not receiving medical care. Kemalu was missing most of his tail due to frostbite, from a lack of shelter. 

 There are a lot of stories- each of our animal residents has one. Like Bam Bam, she was purchased as a cub and trained to be used in the entertainment industry. Once she was no longer viable for profit, the owner planned to euthanize her. Thankfully, we got to her before he could. And Mazi who lived for over 10 years as a "pet" in a small barren enclosure in a backyard.
