VAP's FOUNDER CHOSEN FOR THE EGMONT 2013 AWARD

By Nancy Waweru | Project Director

For the 3rd year running,VAP has been partnering with Egmont Trust which is a UK based charity that aims to tackle and reverse the impact of HIV and AIDS on children in sub-Saharan Africa. Egmont Trust has been running an award scheme and each year it has been making two awards: one that recognizes an individual and their personal inspiration commitment to the fight against AIDS and the other one that recognizes an organization and how it evolves and make a different to the lives of people affected by AIDS.

These awards are based on Egmont's assessment of the work of individuals and organizations across all those that Egmont Trust support over the past year and is intended to offer recognition for the people who receive them and those they work with.

It's out of his total dedication and commitment since the establishment of the program in 2004 that VAP's founder Enouce Ndeche was chosen as  the Most Inspirational Individual amongst all Egmont Trust partners over the last year. The award will be presented in London in the month of May 21st-26th during Egmont's flagship event. The highlight of this event will be a Reception on the evening of Tuesday 21 May, when you Enouce Ndeche  will receive a certificate of recognition and speak very briefly about his work and VAP's partnership with Egmont Trust.
