CICD PHOENIX, started the first stage of the project "Help for Ukrainian children, refugees in Moldova ", from the money received from GlobalGiving we bought 3 cabinets for the Temporary Placement Center for Refugees (RAC) of the UTM dormitory nr.1.
This RAC hosts 82 refugees, and now after a small renovation and arrangement with new furniture, a few more families will be received who will be accommodated in 17 rooms.
The conditions in the UTM dormitory are good, the children have a class room "Smart Class" for online lessons, which was arranged by CICD PHOENX in partnership with SmartAid and Japan Platform, there is also a playroom for kindergarten children and a relaxation room for adults.
In this refugee center there are several families whose homes are destroyed and they have nowhere to return.
For almost 3 years now, Moldova has become a second home for over 90,000 refugees. Now in winter, people from Ukraine still continue to come and find a safe place on the territory of the Republic of Moldova.
Your help is very important to us.
Thank you!
