Over the past months, we’ve continued to support Ukrainian refugee families with trauma therapy, art and music workshops for children, legal aid, food distribution, and reintegration programs. Thanks to previous funding from the U.S. Embassy, dozens of children received the psychological support they desperately needed – including many who were diagnosed only after arriving in Poland.
But now, we’re facing a major setback. Following recent decisions by the U.S. administration under President Trump, our funding was cut almost overnight. This sudden change forced us to halt or scale back key activities – even as the number of refugees arriving from Russian-occupied regions continues to grow.
We are still here. Still helping. Still distributing food twice a week. Still guiding families through the complex legalization process. Still offering hot meals, vocational training, and safe spaces for healing.
But we urgently need new support. If you believe in protecting the most vulnerable from being forgotten, please consider donating again or sharing our story.
Together, we can keep hope alive – even when politics get in the way.
