Our Team Is Still Here
Our team continues volunteering and staying connected with LGBTQIA+ communities. But without funding, we can no longer provide the emergency and lifesaving support people urgently need.
The Need Is Still Growing
Queer people in Syria continue to face violence, displacement, insecurity, and urgent protection needs. Requests for help continue to reach us, but our ability to respond has been severely reduced.
Our Services Are Suspended
GEM has now exhausted its available resources. Staff-supported programs and lifesaving services have been suspended until new funding becomes available.
We Hope to Return
Our team continues searching for new resources so we can restart these services as soon as possible.
