Dear Partner,
It is our joy to always bring you progress report of our work which your support makes it possible.
Through your support we are able to provide sexual reproductive health education and free sanitary pads to over 500 schoool girls whom with such your support are able to gain confidence to remain in school. For example Sarah, said "I want to thank GEM for the support, with this information on menstrual hygiene and the sanitary pads giving to me, I assure you that I will not miss school during my period again".
This and many more testimonies like that of Sarah are what keep us strong in carrying out our work to nurture and safeguard the future of girls in Nigeria against the overwhelming odds.
Unfortunately, our motivation to continue with our work seems diminishing considering the financial constrains sorrounds our inability to meet our target. As at the time of submiting this report, we are able to raised the sum of $2,450 only out of our budget of $20,000. This indicates that only 10% of the funds needed is raised.
Much of concern is that is that This project, is a sustainable model that will not only provide free sanitary pad to girls to ensure they are retained and complete their education with dignity but will ensure sustainability of our work by generaiting more revenue for more educational programs through sales of the sanitary pad to the general public even as our programs are being threathen by lack of funding.
As it is believe that "Together, we are Stronger". Our trust now is on YOU as our Hope seems diminishing day by day.
ALL HOPE IS NOT LOST! As we approach the crowd-favorite Globalging Little by Little campaign from April 3rd - 7th, we ask that you continue to keep a trust of your investment with to make us hopeful in making our mission possible to make girls future greater and stronger in Nigerian. This campaign showcases the power of smaller dollar donors. During this period donations up to $50 will be matched at 50%.
