Hi
Thank you so much for your support towards Harriet, Harriet completed school and now employed in a clinic in Eastern Uganda, Harriet is a midwife, she stays adjacent to the clinic as she some times works in the night, "am glad for your support Brooke, thanks for paying my tuition, you did not only stop at tuition but also enabling me to get a descent accomodation after work, beddings and toiletries" Harriet.
Harriet earns a monthly salary of worth $55, her school results are not yet out, she earns like an intern untill when the results come out by year end. Harriet has also cultivated some millet and sweet potatoes to enable her boost on the income and for food at her workplace and in her home (parent)
Harriet's sister passed on leaving twins aged 6, Harriets family can not take care of these orphans, Harriet will be able to help these orphans when she is self sustained and earns more than what she earns now, to us, enabling Harriet to be self sufficient is enabling her family and community to be self reliant.
