Pathways' crisis email has been a lifeline to victims during the pandemic thanks to your donations. In 2021, as of the end of November, our crisis email advocates provided critical response to 78 domestic violence victims in 43 countries, and 11 sexual assault victims in 9 countries.
Additionally over 560 crisis emails were received from within the USA from victims, service providers, American Embassies and more.
We would not have been able to respond to all of these emails and provide advocacy without your support!
We expect 2022 to see an increase of victimization of Americans abroad as international travel resumes. Sexual predators that have been isolated and have not had the opportunity to seek out victims will be ready, seeking out opportunity. Domestic violence victims will be seeking assistance in escaping abuse after being in lockdown with their abuser.
As always, Pathways will be available to assist to the best of our ability.
Thank you and we wish you and your families happiness, health and prosperity as we enter a New Year.
