Honestly, we wish our work was not necessary. We wish that all homes were a place of love, safety and joy for mothers and children all over the world.
Sadly, that is not the case for everyone. And your donations to our mission means you understand that too.
While we provided services to a total of 482 victims, 252 were victims seeking assistance in the USA and didn't have any international aspect to their situations. We referred those victims to our to victim services provider partners in the United States.
But 122 American women with 108 children needed much more than a referral. We work with these victims over weeks, months and sometimes spanning years, as we help them navigate the complicated aspects of their situations and try to achieve the best outcome possible for their safety back home in the USA.
We will continue to be committed to this population of victims, even when federal government legislation including the Violence Against Women Act will not support services to Americans once they step off of US soil.
Without your help we would not be operating. We sincerely thank you.
We wish you and your loved ones peace and joy this holiday season.
Warmly,
The Pathways Team
