Hello friends and supporters,
We hope this update finds you well. We want to start by saying thank you for every single contribution and share of our campaign. Your kindness and belief in this project means so much to us.
The First-Aid Training Initiative was created to give our community the essential skills needed to respond quickly and confidently during emergencies. Whether it’s a child getting hurt at school during our Elephant Education Clubs, an accident in camp, or a sudden illness at an event, these skills can save lives, especially in rural areas where medical help can take time to arrive.
Recently, during a career fair our team hosted, we had an unexpected medical emergency. A student suddenly fell ill, and for a moment, panic set in. Thankfully, we were able to get her to the clinic right away, and she made a full recovery. That moment stayed with us. It showed just how critical it is for our team and the broader community, to have proper first-aid training. We’re often out in rural communities where clinics are far, and being prepared could make all the difference in moments like that.
Although we haven’t yet reached the funding needed to begin training, we’re not giving up. The support we’ve already received has helped us raise awareness and strengthen partnerships with local clinics, first aid representatives, and schools. We’re so close to making this vision a reality. Please help us reach our goal by sharing our fundraiser with your friends, family, or anyone who believes in building safer communities. Every share and every donation brings us closer to giving our team and neighbors the tools to save lives.
Together, we can make sure that when emergencies happen, our community is ready, calm, capable, and confident.
Thank you once again for being part of this journey with us.
With gratitude,
The Elephants for Africa Team
