GUSTUKAS
I read a letter from the fire of little Gusto, who has returned from another treatment trip in Switzerland. Like blood beads I read every sentence. And ... the thread of joy breaks ...
We realize the value of life most when the loss touches us or people close to us and familiar with us.
"We are already at home (after Gusto's 7th treatment visit to Lausanne). Our hearts are bursting with joy - vision tests are promising (showing 3% visibility in both eyes). , but 4 new cancer cell lesions were detected in the left eye that were destroyed by laser therapy, so this visit was not necessary for intra-arterial chemotherapy. However, despite the emergence of new tumor cell formations, Prof. Munier's lip corners rose when we watched the footage (the professor had given me a homework last visit), the angle at which Gustas touches, takes, grabs, explores the environment. in the environment, albeit without direct eye contact but at least by turning a gaze to the speaker, it is already a great achievement for Gusto to develop his independence and self-confidence. At the same time, there is a painful mess in our hearts, emptiness, immeasurable sweetness, because we could not share this news of the progress of healing with Gusto's grandfather, who left us unexpectedly before leaving for this visit ...
Life is fragile and unpredictable. Let's enjoy the little things, let's not delay everything we really love, loved ones, books, friends, friends, hobbies, work, etc., let's enjoy the here and now, save time for the future (because we can not use the latter), whatever it is.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone. "
