Little Silvia, we are with you!
This little girl is only 3 months old, and she has already embarked on one of the most important journeys of her life. Currently, together with her loving parents, Silvia is being treated for retinoblastoma (eye cancer) in Switzerland:
"On October 11, we arrived for the eagerly awaited treatment in Lausanne, Switzerland. The journey was tiring enough even for a girl who was not yet 4 months old. Two flights, a lot of noise, unfamiliar smells and sensations. Although the country welcomed us with warmth, sun and views of unique beauty, in the heart there was uncertainty, anxiety and fear.
The next day, we had a consultation at the Jules-Gonin eye clinic with ophthalmologist Christina Stathopoulos, who provided general information about the treatment we were expecting and preparation for the procedures.
October 13 tests were performed on both eyes and a cold therapy procedure was performed on the right eye, which has a smaller tumor. Unfortunately, the treatment for the left eye is more serious - chemotherapy.
October 18 we went to CHUV hospital for chemotherapy treatment. Silvija endured both procedures perfectly and showed that she is a real fighter," the little girl's mother Ieva shares her impressions.
Silvia faces a very long and complicated treatment, traveling to Switzerland for at least 2-4 years, and these expenses, amounting to at least 60,000 euros, are an unbearable burden for the family.

Let's all focus together! If you don't have the opportunity to contribute financially, share this post with your friends - it's no less help
