Our little Adam
The greatest Christmas gift for us is our recovering children. We are very happy that Adam's eighth trip to Switzerland was successful and that the family experienced many beautiful and meaningful moments during it.
We share a letter from Adam's mother Gabija:
"This time we flew to Switzerland, landing in a thick fog. Through the plane windows, we could not see the ground - only the peaks of the mountains, protruding above the clouds. Such a view reminded us that even when there is a lot of uncertainty around, there is always something that leads forward.
With the holidays approaching, this trip had a special meaning. When the whole world is in a hurry, we learn to stop and appreciate simple things - a calm morning, a child's smile, being together.
About the treatment
The tumors in the right eye have shrunk and are currently no longer active - this is extremely good news. Cryo treatment in this eye was applied more for protection, although it was no longer necessary.
The situation in the left eye is also not bad, so this time no treatment was needed.
After the procedures
Recovery from anesthesia was excellent - Adam slept well and woke up with a smile. Such moments provide quiet relief and allows us to breathe a little.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all who support us. Your kindness is the greatest gift we have brought into the holiday season."
