Free Medical Camp organize for healthcare.
PROTIBANADHI SHISHU SHIEKKHA O PARICHARJA SAMITY (PROSHIPS), a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting persons with disabilities in the Jamalpur district of Bangladesh, On the 17th august 2025 organized a Free Medical Camp for adolescent girls and women with disabilities. This initiative reflects our unwavering commitment to fostering inclusive development and empowering marginalized communities.
The primary objective of the camp was to provide accessible healthcare services, address the unique medical needs of adolescent girls and women with disabilities, and promote awareness of reproductive health and hygiene. The overarching goal was to enhance their quality of life by ensuring better health and encouraging self-reliance.
Equal access to healthcare is a fundamental right for all, including persons with disabilities. Education about reproductive health empowers women to make informed decisions. Community support and awareness can eliminate barriers to health services.
The medical camp served over 100 individuals, offering free consultations, medicines, and health education. It addressed critical health concerns, provided actionable advice on reproductive health and hygiene, and fostered a sense of inclusion and dignity among participants. Feedback revealed increased awareness of preventive care and improved confidence in managing personal health.
