CDLA is a non-profit institution founded in 1990 with the mission "Contribute to increasing the survival rate of children and young people with cancer in Mexico, who do not have social security", through two main programs, Medical Support and Shelter , providing all medications, special studies, bone marrow transplants, prostheses, food, lodging, transportation, educational, nutritional, emotional support, creative workshops and everything they need.
In 34 years of work we have supported more than 14,900 girls, boys and young people with cancer, today there are more than 1,200 active treatments and more than 5,800 referrals.
But that is not enough, in Mexico every year more than 5,000 patients are diagnosed with childhood cancer, being the first cause of death from a disease in children from newborn to 14 years of age.
At CDLA we are committed to providing high-quality support, at no cost to families.
