Project Report | Oct 15, 2024
report #1

By Elena Kenesova | PROJECT LEADER

A consultation meeting was held between the executive director of the public foundation "Sustainable Development of Local Communities" Elena Borisovna Kenesova and the head of the neonatology department of the maternity hospital of the Central Hospital of the Talgar District Elena Pilipko on the importance and urgency of purchasing equipment for premature babies and the most priority types of equipment, since the number of premature babies increased by 17 percent from March to September 2024.

A strategic meeting was held with the Deputy Director of the Talgar District Hospital for Maternal and Child Health, Nurgul Nurmukhambetovna Matzhanova. The main topic of discussion was the purchase of vital equipment for premature babies.

This meeting was filled with emotions and hopes. Nurgul Nurmukhambetovna enthusiastically spoke about the current needs of the hospital and emphasized how important it is to provide the latest equipment for the youngest patients. She noted that every day without the necessary equipment can cost the lives of newborns, and that timely assistance can significantly improve their chances of survival and healthy development.

The project to purchase equipment for premature babies is of great importance to our community. It will not only save lives, but also strengthen trust in the medical system by providing high-quality care to the most vulnerable patients. During the meeting, specific steps and deadlines for the project, as well as possible sources of funding, were discussed.

These meetings were an important step towards improving medical care in our district. We are confident that through joint efforts we can ensure a better future for our children.
