Dear friends and generous supporters,
Thank you for your continued kindness, which helps us bring warmth and care to newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit at Talgar District Hospital. While we have not received new donations for essential medical equipment in some time, we have not given up!
Recently, we personally visited the hospital and donated 18 knitted sets to provide comfort and warmth to premature babies. Parents and medical staff expressed heartfelt gratitude—these small but meaningful gifts create a sense of security that is vital for newborns in their first days of life.
Knitted Items for Premature Babies Offer Numerous Benefits:
Woolen knitted garments stimulate the nervous system of premature infants. Natural wool provides a gentle reflex massage when touching the skin, improving blood circulation and encouraging the baby's motor activity.
Knitted items made from natural wool retain warmth better. They offer additional heat-saving properties, helping the baby conserve energy for growth and development rather than expending it on staying warm.
Knitted octopus toys soothe and comfort newborns. Their tentacles resemble the umbilical cord, providing a sense of security and calmness. These knitted toys can also create the comforting feeling of having their mother close by.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the artisans whose dedication and love are woven into every stitch of these special items. May every baby in the world be healthy and cared for!
Why is your help important?
Every day, premature babies fight for survival. However, the neonatal intensive care unit urgently needs modern equipment that can save lives. Without new donations, we cannot purchase the necessary devices—but together, we can change that.
How can you help?
Every action you take brings hope and real assistance. We believe that, together, we can accomplish so much more!
With gratitude and hope,
The Project Team
