Dear donors,
Snakebite remains a silent but deadly emergency in many rural Nigerian villages, especially in farming communities. Women, children, and farmers are often bitten far from health facilities, where antivenom, trained staff, and transport are unavailable. As a result, many victims die or suffer permanent disability from delayed care. This project aims to supply quality antivenom to rural clinics, train frontline health workers, and raise community awareness on early response. While initial support has been received, additional funds are needed to fully cover antivenom supply, training, transport support, and outreach to hard-to-reach villages. With timely support, preventable deaths will be reduced, families protected, and rural communities made safer from snakebite emergencies.
Warm regards,
