With everything going on all around the world, we are incredibly grateful that you chose to help us take care of the street animals of Rajasthan, India. We are based in beautiful countryside with a rich culture and history, but the daily hardships of life here, and the vagaries of climate, make it a difficult and challenging place to work.
Buildings are damaged every year from the extremes of the monsoon rains to intense heat; vehicles need constant repair and maintenance; and there are numerous personal struggles our staff have to deal with.
Your support helps us through these challenges and enables us to keep going for the animals. In 2022 we helped 13,970 animals through our Rescue & Care project: that’s an average of 38 animals every day.
TOLFA not only operates the busy Rescue & Care project. In 2022 we treated 4,686 livestock animals belong to local subsistence farmers through our Rural Animal Health project: keeping them healthy to support those families and keep them out of poverty. We also provided veterinary care to over 7,000 companion animals at our Pet Clinic, helping people to become responsible pet owners with respect for their animals.
The world’s troubles can be overwhelming at times, but at TOLFA everything we do is with the whole-hearted intention of making things better, and we do that every day for the animals and people we work with. Every animal we treat is cared for with kindness and empathy. Every little life saved is a victory for us, and we thank you for helping us win those victories.
