Thank you for following the progress of our project, Help Pay for Travel Expenses of Cancer Patients. Although we are yet to receive donations, we are encouraged by the potential this campaign holds to ease a major burden for low-income cancer patients in Ghana.
Many patients must travel long distances—often from rural communities to larger cities—for chemotherapy, surgery, or follow-up appointments. For families already struggling with medical bills, transport costs can mean missed treatments or delayed care. This project was created to help solve that.
We have begun outreach to local hospitals and cancer units to identify patients in need and are building a referral system to ensure support reaches the most vulnerable once funding begins. In the meantime, we continue raising awareness of this critical need.
We are deeply grateful for every visitor and supporter who shares this project. With your help, we will soon begin turning hope into action—one transport fare at a time.
With gratitude,
The Adjah Cancer Support Ghana Team
