One of the joys of serving people is being able to see the impact of the relief that we bring to them. Last year, thanks through the continued support of a faithful Develop Africa supporter, we were able to help meet the specific needs of a special family in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
The home of the family had been affected by past storm. The family came up with the need for bedding, bags to put their clothes, need for food and payment of school fees for the three girls. We were able to meet their specific needs and also give a sum of money to the father.
Joshua, the local Coordinator reports - "I was so thrilled by the shouts of joy when the news was broken to them and also when the items were received". You can see the appreciation on their faces in the included photos.
It’s indeed a joy for us to be able to help this and other families. We welcome your support as we provide more relief where it is needed most – when families have lost everything.
