“No shoes No game! This is for most of people but not for our children in TFCF Cambodia Football Team. It just happened in a friendly game with other school team recently. We found the opposing team members had no shoes, so our team members decided to take off shoes and had a game with them after a short discussion. What a friendly game it was!
Usually, the football training is conducted during the weekend because all team members have more free time to participate in training. It’s from 7 am to 9 am and I found most of children were not late and kept their smiles in the whole morning. It’s getting better and better and now all members are familiar with football skills now. Actually, they are well trained and have improved many key skills and be able to apply and utilize their skills while playing a game. They also build a sense of teamwork and solidarity within the team. They had good ball controls and did a good job on the field during 90 minutes game time and our side beat the other in the match. Thank you for giving children the opportunities to learn and grow with their dream. ”
- Message from Un Sinat, the football coach
Friendly games played!
During 2019 July, our football team had a friendly game with another team from the government school in Trampong district, Oddor Meanchey Province. It took 90 minutes from 7 am to 8:30 am in DPC football field. As mentioned above, our team didn’t wear football shoes because the opposing team didn’t have them, so they suggested not to wear shoes in case of hurting each other. Our children received a great success and really did a good job. They achieved their goal and also received well experiences in the game. However, there are still many skills to improve, such as ball controls and save the ball from the shoot by the other team. Our coach will keep training them to raise their skills continuously. Thank you again for your great support and donation! Let’s keep watching their growth and making their dreams come true! Thank you!
With gratitude,
Wen Hung
