Progress Report

By Muhammad Saddiq | Project Leader

Funds Raised to Date: $394.72

We are grateful to our donors for the initial support received for the Kabri-Chana Community Health Facility. Although we are still at an early stage of fundraising, the contributions so far have already made a meaningful difference in improving service delivery at the facility.

With the funds raised, we were able to procure essential consumables and basic medical supplies, ensuring that routine maternal and primary healthcare services can continue without interruption. In addition, we successfully restored reliable internet connectivity at the facility, which has enabled the launch of remote consultations and a functional telemedicine program. Health workers can now consult with doctors and specialists remotely, improving decision-making, referrals, and overall quality of care for patients in this remote community.

As a result of these improvements, facility operations have significantly improved, particularly in clinical support, communication, and access to expert guidance for complex cases. Community members are beginning to experience better access to timely care without the need to travel long distances.

However, key project goals remain unmet due to limited funds. We are still working toward hiring a qualified midwife and procuring an ultrasound machine, both of which are critical for safe deliveries, early detection of pregnancy complications, and comprehensive maternal care.

We remain committed to achieving the full objectives of this project and deeply appreciate the continued support of our donors as we work to bring lifesaving maternal and child healthcare closer to the people of Kabri-Chana.
