25 years of educating children!
For us it is bittersweet to announce our 25th school year is in full swing! While we are excited to announce that our four schools are running smoothly, at the same time we are sad that so many schools nationwide in Afghanistan have closed. Our numbers continue to grow and our families continue to be grateful for the opportunity to send their children to school, We added a women’s conference center for girls and moms in the village to meet for learning through classes and workshops. We held our winter girls’ graduation celebration in the new center. We continue to seek partnerships to help provide for our project. We have been asked to build schools in another village. We are looking to find grants and funding sources to be able to support the existing project while expanding into another village.
