I would like to extend my sincere thanks you all for your generous donation to our project. When we were evicted from our office on March 30th, just because we are homosexuals we got afraid and did not know what to or where to go for help, but you quicly responded to our need and made donations that were enough to cover rent in the first three days.
My colleague started looking for a single self house right away, and he was able to locate the a house reported back we visted it and we all liked it, we then negotiated with the landlord and he agreed to retain the house for us till we pay. The Money came in early May we managed to pay twelve Months rent in advance (1st May 2014- 30th April 2015) then moved in our new office on May 7th 2014. We are proud of you because you helpped us find enough and safe space allowing us work effectively serving the entire LGBT community in Tanzania. Still the office is not fully funished since it has bigger space than the previous office.
Our new office can accommodate 10 staff each staff having his/her own desk and our board room can accommodate 15-20 people at ago.
We have also been able to pay water and electricity bills for May 2014 and will be able to buy stationary, pay tellephone bills and the internet for June 2014.
LGBT Voice Tanzania is a voluntary organization that depend on voluntary contributions and donations from individual, please continue surporting us so that we can be able to meet the daily oparating costs of the organization.
