Academy Plus Update #7 - final trainings for 2023

Dear Partners,

Thank you for making 2023 a special year as we re-launched our Academy Plus to focus on disabled people in Thailand. We also selected 2 new apprentices back in April and they have been progressing well in their training as web programmers. Next year, they will move on to Phase 2 of 3 where they will work along side of experienced programmers as part of a web development team. We have also identified two more potential apprentices to start next year in Phase 1 which is learning basic skills in web development.

In both August and September, we continued to train 36 individuals from the Care Corner Foundation in "Basic Excel Usage." These sessions took place every Saturday through to the end of September.

Moreover, in the months of August and September, we had the opportunity to provide training in the ITF (Information Technology Fundamental) course to 7 individuals with disabilities. We also collaborated with the Deaf Acts Church to assist in teaching individuals with hearing impairments.

In September, we also contributed by providing hardware assistance to the Family Connection Foundation.

And in October and November, we did more ITF classes and a Programming Boot Camp with disabled students from our partner YardFon Foundation.

As we close our the year of 2023, we are grateful for your financial support and for following our activities. We are excited about the new opportunities that are coming up in 2024 and hope we can continue to count on your support.
