Dear Friend,
Here is a quick update on what we have been doing the last three months. In January, DigiServe had the opportunity to discuss with the Raindrop Center for Disability Development about training programs for people with disabilities and increasing the number of students coming to intern with us this year. Additionally, they also visited their students (our apprentices) at our office.
Moreover, DigiServe was invited by Stronger Together (one of our partner organizations) to bring both of the apprentices to participate in a social event aimed at introducing them to people with disabilities from various backgrounds.
In February and March, DigiServe conducted online ITF (IT Fundamentals training) sessions for persons with disabilities to enhance their IT skills for future employment opportunities. We have discovered that there are more interested people with disabilities that live outside our city. That's why we have started providing online classes which we had stopped doing after the Covid pandemic.
In March, DigiServe was invited to sign an MOU with the Raindrop Center for Disability Development and various other organizations to further develop and expand IT-related opportunities for persons with disabilities.
Finally, one of our partner organizations provided free basic sign language training to our deaf apprentice in order to benefit them in personal communication and future work.
Thank you for your partnershp with DigiServe.
