Known as Matrimonios y Uniones Infantiles Tempranas y Forzadas (MUITF), this practice strips children — especially girls — of their access to education, health care, and personal freedom. It perpetuates intergenerational cycles of vulnerability and poverty, denying them the chance to shape their own lives.
