Together, We Can End Child Marriage in Mexico — Join Us in Building a Brighter Future!

Every girl deserves the right to dream, to learn, and to thrive. Yet in Mexico, countless girls are being robbed of their childhood, their education, and their future through the harmful practice of child marriage. Trapped in a cycle of poverty and inequality, they are forced into unions before they are physically, emotionally, or mentally ready — often because their families, facing economic hardship and pressured by deep-rooted gender norms, feel they have no other option.

In communities like Metlatónoc, located in the mountainous region of Guerrero, child, early, and forced marriage (CEFM) is not just a social issue — it's a systemic violation of human rights. Known as Matrimonios y Uniones Infantiles Tempranas y Forzadas (MUITF), this practice strips children — especially girls — of their access to education, health care, and personal freedom. It perpetuates intergenerational cycles of vulnerability and poverty, denying them the chance to shape their own lives.

But change is possible. And it starts with you.Your Support Has Already Sparked Transformation!

Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, we achieved a historic breakthrough in Metlatónoc: the local government signed a landmark Memorandum of Agreement to prohibit the sale and forced marriage of girls. This powerful commitment protects thousands of young lives and sets a precedent for other communities across Mexico. It proves that when compassion meets action, progress follows.

Here’s How We’re Driving Lasting Change:

  1. Community Empowerment. We partner with families, traditional leaders, and local authorities to challenge harmful traditions and promote gender equality. Through dialogue, education, and cultural transformation, we’re building communities where girls are valued not as brides, but as leaders, learners, and changemakers.
  2. Education . Staying in school is one of the strongest protections against child marriage. We train teachers, provide emotional support to students, and create safe learning environments where girls can grow in confidence, knowledge, and ambition — envisioning futures full of possibility, not limitation.
  3. Economic Empowerment for Families. Poverty should never dictate a girl’s fate. We equip families with financial literacy training, seed funding, and entrepreneurship opportunities so they can build sustainable livelihoods. When families thrive, daughters are seen not as a burden, but as an investment in a brighter future.

Your Gift Today Can Change the Course of a Girl’s Life Tomorrow.
Every dollar you donate powers this holistic, proven approach. With your support, we can expand these life-saving programs to more high-risk communities, protect thousands more girls from forced marriage, and inspire entire regions to say: Not here. Not ever.

This is more than charity — it’s justice. It’s dignity. It’s hope.
Together, we can end child marriage in Mexico.

Join us. Donate today and help build a future where every girl is free to be a child — and then, a woman — on her own terms.

Be the reason a girl stays in school. Be the reason she dreams bigger. Be the reason her future begins.
Donate now and help us create a Mexico — and a world — where no child is forced to marry.
